A thorough service for the execution of customs procedures for both imports and exports, as well Intrastat declarations. New regulations regarding the export of goods outside the territory of the European Community.
Since 1 July 2007 proof of export of goods has no longer been constituted by the “exit visa” on Copy 3 of the customs Bill (SAD – Single Administrative Document), but by an electronic message. The start of this new procedure required the use of a new document, known as the "Export Accompanying Document” (EAD). The EAD accompanies goods to the exit customs in place of the SAD copy 3, and the current regulations concerning exit formalities apply to it in a similar way.
Proof of exit of goods will no longer be provided with a special stamp on a paper document by the exit customs, but will consist of an electronic "exit" message that the competent exit customs will send to the export customs through an E.C.S. system, and that can be visualised by the exporting firm through the Automated Export System (A.E.S.) or “export notification”, which can be used on the customs site on the page:

inserting the alphanumerical code, called Mrn, present in the E.A.D. under the barcode.
It is advisable, upon release of the customs declaration, to have a copy of the E.A.D. sent to you in order to allow this verification.The types of reply from the system are:
a) "pending exit visa" in this case we recommend that you wait for a few more days and then repeat the process. You should wait for at least 15 days from the date of issue of the E.A.D.
b) Result in favour: in this case it will give the export office, the office of final exit, and the date on which the transaction was closed. We recommend having this printed and attached to the copy of the E.A.D. received from the customs declarer as export notification.
